Langley is two entities:
The City of Langley (approximate population: 23,000) encircled by the Township of Langley (approximate population: 79,00). Both Langleys are in School District # 35. The area is about a 50 minute car ride southeast of Vancouver in the Fraser Valley. The average price for a single detached home in Langley was $522.938 in February 2007, up 8.8% from $480,829 in January, and up 22.4% from $427,067 in February 2006.
Townhouses went up 5.1% to $306,480 from $291,718 in January and 20.1% from February 2006.
